Now more than ever, school board members, parents and other concerned citizens are needed in Trenton to advocate on behalf of their local public schools. The New Jersey Parent Teacher Association (NJPTA) and the New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA) are teaming up to present the 2013 Legislative Day in Trenton, on June 6. The Legislative Day will allow PTA leaders to network with other PTA leaders and school officials, and invited legislators.
The day will also feature presentations on timely education topics including school funding, charter schools, the teacher evaluation process, and other related education issues.
The seated lunch will begin at 12:30, and will provide an opportunity for you to network with other education leaders in the state. PTA members may register for this FREE event by clicking here and emailing your registration to mburlaga@njpta.org.
The event will be moderated by John Mooney from Spotlight on New Jersey
