The NJPTA has taken steps to insure our members receive the most up to date information
regarding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Your local district websites should be posting updates on how to prepare for COVID-19, your
school closings, as well as community event cancellations. Visit your local school websites and
local Departments of Education websites for specific information and updates on your schools.
The New Jersey Department of Education has multiple links for information on preparation for
home instruction and protection from COVID-19.
Go to: www.nj.gov – you will immediately see information and phone numbers for NJ
Coronavirus. There is also a link to the NJ Health Department and the NJ Department of
Education.

Once you enter the Link, scroll down to reach various links including school closings, guidance
for child care and resources for schools and businesses.
